Top 5 Home Remedies for Head Lice

Home Remedies for Head Lice

Head lice. Almost every person will have to deal with head-lice at one time or another.

It’s really doesn’t have to do with cleanliness as some may think. These lice are tiny parasites that live in the hair.

Lice come from many things, such as your hairbrush, towels, blankets, direct head-to-head contact, caps, and even clothes of the infected person.

You've probably never seen the lice in animals because they don’t like fur. They tend to only like human hair. That’s why they make their home in human hair.

The major sign of hair lice is an itchy scalp. People scratching their hair because of lice can be common. Lice eggs and babies(nits) stick to the hair shaft about half an inch from the scalp.

Lice eggs, called nits, look like tiny seeds attached to the hair. Nits are clear and found within an inch of the scalp. The nits (Lice Eggs) can be yellow, brown, or tan if the lice haven't hatched.
