… if you’re not ready to receive it, it will be wasted.”
Robinson is also one actress who continues to give back, even if it’s not in the spotlight.
“I am the co founder and executive director for Amazing Grace Conservatory,” explains Robinson. “It’s our 20th year of not only being in production but existence. We are a performing arts school for ages 7 to 21. We offer acting, voice, and dance for youth and young adults who are not only interested in artists, but just becoming better human beings, have greater communication skills and things like that. We are a year round program. We have a 12 week fall semester that we are in right now and then a spring and summer program. We are seeing some great success stories, some young people that are going to Yale, Tish, and Julliard, some doing off Broadway, some even working with me actually on The Game and other things that I have done. It’s a full circleness of I don’t want to say just giving back, but it’s more of an exchange because they give me so much and keep me grounded in this business as well.”
