There are seven swirling centers of energy that run along the spine of the body called chakras. Each chakra is an energy source responsible for a different set of functions within the body. Sometimes through emotional buildup or disturbances within our bodies such as infections, an overgrowth of toxic chemicals or injury, these energy centers can become blocked causing many different problems within the body.
