The New Spa Therapy Treatment You Must Try

pink sea salt

Don’t you feel relaxed after spending a long day at the beach? Apparently spa’s have caught on to this blissful matter, and have figured out a way to not only bring it to you at your request, but profit from it as well.

It’s called dry salt therapy, or halotherapy, and it’s more than likely coming to a city near you soon! This treatment originated in Europe, and has sparked a trend that has moved here. It involves relaxing in a room filled with Himalayan pharmaceutical-grade salt. It circulates in the air and you breathe it in, causing you to relax. The dry salt has anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties.

These treatments help reduce stress, improve breathing and make your skin glow. Dry salt therapy is great for someone battling insomnia, as it promotes rest and sleep. It also benefits sufferers of bronchitis, allergies, asthma, cystic fibrosis, sinus infections, eczema, psoriasis, snoring and sleep apnea.

Some of these spa centers are taking it up a notch and even offering yoga classes in the salt rooms. How’s that for a double whammy of relaxation and body movement?
