6 Do-It-Yourself Masks For That Acne!


We all experience acne at one, two or even several points in our lives. Men and women are both susceptible to the hideous and even painful wrath of acne. Want to get a handle on it in the comfort of your kitchen? Check out these 6 DIY Masks for Acne.

Charcoal Acne/Blackhead Extraction Mask

Ingredients:
-3 activated charcoal capsules
-1 tbsp aloe vera gel (bottled or plant)
-Optional: 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (ACV)

Directions:
Grab a bowl, open the capsules and pour them into the aloe vera gel.
Mix ingredients together (add ACV if desired).
Apply to face with fingers or a clean foundation brush in outward strokes.
Leave on for 5-10 mins, or until semi-dry.
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry your face. Apply moisturizer.

Papaya Lighten & Even Tone Mask:

Ingredients:
-2 tbsp papaya juice
-2 tbsp yogurt
-apple cider vinegar (ACV)
-almond/olive/groundnut oil for dry skin
-glycerin for dry skin
-egg white

Directions:
Grind a small piece of papaya. Mix it with yogurt, vinegar and almond oil, olive oil, or groundnut oil.
Keep it in the fridge for a couple of hours.
Take the pack and add some glycerin and egg white to it. Apply the pack on your face and leave it for 20-30 mins. Rinse it with lukewarm water.

Lime Exfoliating Cleanser Mask

Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp gram flour or besan
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp turmeric
- A few drops of rose water

Directions:
Mix all the above ingredients well and apply on your face.
Let it dry and rinse with lukewarm water.

Honey Blemish-Free Mask:

Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp lime juice

Directions:
Take equal amounts of honey and lime juice.
Mix them well and use it as a pack or mask.
Wait for 15-20 min and rinse well with lukewarm water.

Milk Moisture Mask

Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- Pinch of turmeric powder
- 1tbsp honey

Directions:
Mix all these ingredients well and use it as a pack or mask.
Leave it until dry and rinse well with lukewarm water.

Tomato Glow Mask

Ingredients:
- Tomato
- Honey

Directions:
Mash a tomato and mix it with equal parts of honey.
Apply it all over your face and wait 20-30 min.
Rinse your face with lukewarm water and you will find your skin glowing.
