In this heartfelt video, Miasha Gilliam-El opens up about her life-threatening experience with complications during and after her pregnancy with preeclampsia and peripartum cardiomyopathy (a weakness of the heart muscle that occurs during pregnancy or soon after delivery).
We must stand together to raise awareness and advocate for change. The time for action is now, as we strive for a future where no mother faces such devastating risks during one of life’s most precious moments.
