…it took me awhile to see that I made progress. I would say approximately 6 months in my journey. I noticed I was getting stronger and more endurance.
5. Has losing weight changed your relationships? Absolutely, on both sides especially with female friends. I really don’t have many original female friends and I’d have to say it’s because I don’t do the things I used to do. So there is nothing in common anymore. As far as my love life I’ve always had relationships even at my highest weight (421Lbs) I actually had my daughter at that point in my life. What is extremely different is the quality or type of men that are interested in me.
6. If someone wanted to lose weight like you, what would be the first 3 steps you would tell them? The first step is to be HONEST with yourself. Ask yourself, is this really something you want and if so HOW HARD ARE YOU WILLING TO WORK FOR IT? If it’s not in your top 3 things then your NOT ready yet. The second step is talk with a dietician/nutritionist and get a meal plan together that works with for you as we all are made up differently. Nutrition is 90% of your success. You cannot work off a bad diet and see results! Lastly, I would leave them with Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance! When you plan, you succeed. This journey requires you to go that extra mile at times. If you follow the 5 P’s and implement them into your daily life you would see improvements overall.
