BDO: Do you have any advice for individuals who want to become an entrepreneur and give back to the community?
CC: Stick with it. If it’s something that you truly believe in and you’re passionate about it, just stick with it. There will be ups and there will be downs, but I think overall, just knowing that what you’re doing is making a difference, just doing whatever it takes to stick with it [helps]. Also, finding a way to have some sort of a support system. Whether that’s your family, a mastermind group, meeting up with somebody or even having a life coach – whatever it takes to form a support system to help you along the way can go a long way.
Do you have any advice for people who want to try yoga?
CC: I would say to just start. I feel like there’s so many reasons not to start sometimes, [whether] it’s schedules or just hesitating going to a studio or practicing online, but just start; pick a day and try it. After that, try as many different classes, styles and teachers as possible because sometimes, there may be one style of yoga, a teacher or even a community that you connect with more than another, so just to be able to give multiple teachers, styles and classes a try…I think that can go a long way to see if it’s something that is a good fit for you.
