short term and “action items” toward those goals.
Third, write out for 3 days, a food diary. This will be a part of the self-examination and self-analysis process). (Sisters can use their How to Eat to Live Journal). I did this once and saw how much food I was eating. What was even worse was how much MONEY I was wasting! Ridiculous! I was spending about $30 ($5 a day, 6 days a week) on sweetened high-calorie coffee drinks.
An extra $1-2 a day on a snack, almost $40 a week on items I don’t need. After cutting back some, I was able to use more of my money toward savings and charity.
Make the necessary changes in your diet and save a dollar. A simple place to start is to limit what you buy and drink between meals. Replace “soda” with water and candy bars with fruit. Lastly, take time to plan and schedule exercise. Our Minister does it, why don’t we? It is time that we take responsibility to improve our health and build a community of healthy men, women, and children. Let us “get fit to live” as a community.
May God bless us all with peace, love, health, wealth and happiness.
