Pie Vs. Cake: Which One Is Better For You?

Today, we are targeting the age old question: pie vs. cake? If you're one of those people that say "who cares?" then maybe you don't know the depth of this argument. For decades people have been going back and forth debating which one is better for you, just so simply they can eat more of it.  Yes, it goes even deeper than that.

Just think:

Apple vs. orange
Grape Jelly vs. Strawberry Jelly
Vanilla vs. Chocolate
Clinton vs. Bush

Yes, pie vs. cake is just as important too (can you tell I'm passionate about this?).  At any rate, lets look at the numbers:

So what does all this data really mean?...

... It simply means eat what you like! Yes, we know that's such a profound statement, but it's actually all about your preference and you eating in moderation. That is the key.

Because we as a people are diverse, we like different things, so don't deprive yourself of what you want, just eat less of it! And please read the labels. When it comes to cutting back, people thinking just eating less of something is good, but soemtimes less of it may be just as much of something else if you don't read the labels. Take into account serving size, amount of sugar and grams of fat. All those factor into your health now and for years to come.

SO the winner of this cake vs. pie debate? It's YOU, if you eat either or both of them correctly. Treat yourself once in a blue moon (twice a year) not every weekend.

Happy eating!
