She Did It! Simone Biles Soars To Her 4th Gold Medal [VIDEO]

**UPDATE** as of August 16, 2016, 5:13pm EST**

She did it! Biles bounced back from a bronze medal performance on the beam to dominate the floor, completing her Rio Olympics with four gold medals and the bronze. She is the fourth American female gymnast to win five medals in a single Olympics, joining Mary Lou Retton (1984), Shannon Miller (1992) and Nastia Liukin (2008).

Biles scored a 15.966 in the floor, considered her best event.

Her signature floor move is the Biles, a double layout with a half-twist and a blind landing. She performed the move nearly perfectly, ending it with a stag leap, which she had left out of her performance in the team event but added back for the individual all-around.

That's right. It's official. Call off all bets. Put your hands down. The young lady has done it.

Simone Biles, the 19-year-old gymnastics phenom from Spring, Texas, cemented her position as the most dominant gymnast in the world on Thursday when she won the individual all-around competition in Rio. Biles outscored her nearest competitor, teammate Aly Raisman, by an unheard of margin of over 2 points.

Biles is the only woman to win world championships three years in a row, and has not lost a gymnastics meet since 2013. She was widely predicted to win the all-around competition at this summer’s Olympics, having qualified in first position and having been awarded the competition’s highest scores on three of four events in Monday’s team final, in which the U.S. won gold. Her all-around win is merely a confirmation of what gymnastics fans have known for several years: She is the best in the world, and probably the best of all time. Today’s final was less a competition than it was a coronation.

And for Raisman and Russian gymnast Aliya Mustafina, who took bronze, the real fight was for silver: No one in that gym was going to beat Biles. As Raisman has said, “Simone’s just in her own league."

The pearly-white smile teenager not only out-shined her opponents but appeared to do similar to the laws of gravity.
Yes, there was a moment where she does one move (seen in the video above) where she flips up in the air double her height. The call that move, "The Biles" because no one else can do it except for her.

"Every emotion hit me at once so I was just kind of a train wreck," Biles told reporters after her historic win.

"Everything was going through my head but mainly it was like, I had finally done it and when that hits you, you can't really stop the emotions."

Congratulations Simone. Thank you. Your rock. You matter. You're amazing.
