Arkell Graves, a Virginia husband gives new meaning to the term “Proud Papa” as shown in a viral video that his wife secretly captured when she creatively told him that she was nearly 5 months pregnant.
Wife Dana Griffin-Graves planted the baby’s ultrasound photos right next to a package of buns in the oven.

After trying for over 17 years to be be parents only resulting in four miscarriages and one stillborn baby, the couple had every reason to lose hope.
But they didn’t.
Now, their video is giving other couples struggling with similar issues a moment to hope again.
Black women are said to be 2 to 3 times more at risk for miscarriages. Risk factors to miscarrying include age, having had a previous miscarriage, obesity, uncontrolled chronic diseases such as diabetes, cervix and uterine issues, and infections such as HIV,gonorrhea and measles.
“His reaction was just priceless,” explains Dana, “I wasn’t expecting that at all. I knew that he would probably be emotional but I definitely was not expecting the reaction I received.”
“I’ve never been that excited before in my life and I mean not mainly for myself, for her,” adds Arkell.
“It was definitely a struggle. A roller coaster with emotions going back and forth. I got to the point where I was you know what, I want to stop trying,” says Dana.
Dana recorded her husband’s reaction to share with family, but that video has garnered thousands of likes on social media.
Arkell says a total stranger approached him this week at the gas station.
“A lady just came up to me and said you’re the big guy who was on there crying,” Arkell said. “Everything is going to be ok. I’m praying for you. You know in these times we need prayer. So I will take all the prayers I don’t care how they come.”
“It shows that God is able to do any and all things and so I’m grateful and I said if it can help someone else and give them hope that it can happen, then you know that’s what it’s about,” adds Dana.
