#WeSeeYou: 150th Freshman Class Begins At Morehouse!

morehouse1

Nearly 730 freshmen and transfer students from 42 states and 15 countries formed Morehouse College’s 150th class this 2016-2017 school year. They all started their collegiate journey on August 10 with the annual New Student Orientation commencement ceremony.

The men represent future lawyers, educators, doctors and artists who all came to Morehouse in hopes for better future.

“It feels great,” said Arshad Ali, a freshman from Chicago. “From the moment you get on campus, you see all the tradition; you feel so welcomed by your big brothers and everybody’s here to greet you and to let you know you’re part of something special.”
