The Cardio Workout For Abs You Can See! (Video)

If you've been doing your best to slim down your waistline, but still don't see any definition in the midsection, there are likely a few reasons for that.

The first reason is probably your diet. It's 100 percent accurate that abs are made in the kitchen.

Take a look at your diet and try adding healthy fats like avocado, olive oil and salmon to your daily meals.

You can also try increasing your protein to about four grams of protein per pound (an average of 56g/day for men, 46g/day for women).

Next, step up your water intake to at least 64 ounces a day, but more if you're working out regularly.

Finally, your abs DO NOT like sugar. Excess sugar that you don't burn off is stored as fat, which keeps your abs from shining! Try to reduce the sweets and any artificial sugars you consume.

The second reason your abs are resisting is how you work out.

You can make your strength, cardio, and high-intensity interval workouts work in favor of the body you want by mixing in moves that help you sweat and shed fat around your waist, while also strengthening those abdominal muscles at the same time.

Trainer and Fitness Influencer, Sharita Jennings has put together a Cardio circuit that's all about your core.

Check out the video in this article and aim to do four rounds of each move.

If you're not ready for the explosive moves that Sharita does in the video, you can take things down a notch by removing the jumps and walking your feet in place one at a time.

You can also drop down to your knees if you need to reduce the resistance on your shoulders when on your hands.

Now, hit play, and set those abs on fire!
