Famed herbal healer, pathologist, and naturalist holistic Dr. Sebi died at the age 82 in 2016. Dr. Sebi gained notoriety from claiming to heal the body from diseases such as diabetes, cancer, and even AIDS. Events surrounding his death are still a little sketchy. Sources say he died at a hospital after contracting pneumonia while being held in police custody.
According to his webpage, Dr. Sebi was born Alfredo Bowman in Honduras in 1933 and spent “decades studying the plants and herbs of North, South and Central America, Africa and the Caribbean.”
Dr. Sebi’s website sold a variety of tonics, capsules, and powders. All of them under the "Cell-Food" label. Most products were based on the premise of feeding the cells the "God-given foods ordained to maintain a healthy body."
