9 Steps To Grow Your Hair Overnight

There are several reasons why people lose their hair or why their hair stops growing. It could be stress, trauma, or even diseases not readily associated with hair loss, like diabetes.

People with diabetes are more likely to have a condition called alopecia areata. With alopecia, the immune system attacks the hair follicles, leading to patches of hair loss on the head and other parts of the body. Diabetes itself can lead to hair loss.

On the other hand, there are key nutrients that can make hair grow faster than ever before. When those ingredients are combined and applied correctly to your hair and scalp, your hair can grow longer and stronger, literally overnight.

Foods that Help Hair Grow

Protein:
Hair is made of protein, so ensuring you get enough is crucial. Eggs, fish, chicken, and beans are excellent sources.
Biotin (Vitamin B7):
Biotin plays a vital role in keratin production, the main protein that makes up hair. Good sources include eggs, nuts, seeds, and dairy.
Omega-3 Fatty Acids:
Found in fatty fish like salmon, omega-3s help keep the scalp healthy and promote hair growth.
Vitamin C:
Vitamin C helps the body absorb iron, which is essential for hair growth. Citrus fruits, berries, and leafy greens are good sources.
Iron:
Iron is crucial for carrying oxygen to hair follicles. Leafy greens, lean meats, and beans are rich in iron.
Vitamin A:
Vitamin A is important for sebum production, which keeps the scalp healthy and hydrated. Carrots, sweet potatoes, and leafy greens are good sources.
Zinc:
Zinc is essential for hair growth and repair. Oysters, nuts, and seeds are good sources.
Other Nutrients:
Consider incorporating foods like avocados, which provide healthy fats and vitamin E, and Greek yogurt, which is a good source of protein and vitamin B5.

Foods to Include in Your Diet:

Eggs: Rich in protein and biotin.
Salmon: A great source of omega-3 fatty acids.
Spinach: Packed with iron, vitamin A, and vitamin C.
Nuts: Walnuts, almonds, and other nuts are good sources of protein, omega-3s, and zinc.
Seeds: Chia seeds and flax seeds are also rich in omega-3 fatty acids.
Avocados: Provide healthy fats and vitamin E.
Sweet Potatoes: Rich in beta-carotene, which supports healthy sebum production.
Oysters: A good source of zinc.
Carrots: Provide vitamin A.
Berries: Rich in antioxidants.
Greek Yogurt: High in protein and vitamin B5.
Leafy Greens: Excellent sources of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
Citrus Fruits: Good sources of vitamin C.
Beans and Lentils: Provide protein and folate.

Foods to Limit or Avoid:

Saturated and Trans Fats: May contribute to inflammation and negatively impact hair health.
Processed Foods: Often low in nutrients and high in unhealthy ingredients.
Excessive Alcohol: Can interfere with nutrient absorption and impact hair growth.

Fast Hair Growth Recipe

Here’s Chanelli‘s hair growth recipe:

Ingredients:

– 2 Eggs
– Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Grapeseed Oil
– Honey (optional)
– Coconut Oil
– Plastic wrap/Clingwrap (preferred) or Plastic Cap

Before We Get Started…

The first thing you want to do is take a section of your hair that you’re going to use for a before-and-after comparison.

Wet the hair, stretch it as long as possible and mark off the length of the hair. Once you’ve done this, either put it in a little hairband or twist it so you can identify what section to measure after completing the process.

Overnight Hair Growth Directions (9 Steps Total):

Step 1
Mix 2 eggs, 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, and 1 tablespoon of honey in a bowl. Whisk it around until the mixture is blended and smooth.

Tip: You can replace the extra virgin olive oil with grapeseed oil or coconut oil.

Step 2:
Evenly apply the mixture to your scalp and hair. Don’t forget to do the middle section and ends of your hair, which often gets left out.

Step 3:
Wrap your hair in clingfilm (plastic wrap), or cover it with a plastic cap and leave it in for one hour.

Step 4:
Remove the clingfilm or cap from your hair and rinse the oil and egg out using lukewarm water.

Step 5:
Apply 3 tablespoons of melted coconut oil to your scalp and hair. Again, remember to do the middle section and ends of your hair.

Step 6:
Using your fingertips, massage your scalp for five to 10 minutes. I personally listened to three different songs, as that tends to be around the 10-minute mark. This step is very important so do not skip it! Massaging your scalp increases blood flow to your scalp, which promotes hair growth.

Step 7:
Wrap your hair in clingfilm or a cap and then leave this in for eight hours or overnight.

Step 8:
Rinse out the coconut oil using lukewarm water.

Tip: This step is optional. If you have thick curly coarse hair or afro hair, you can leave the coconut oil in.

If you have caucasian thin hair, you may find the oil to be too greasy and want to wash it out.

Step 9:
Measure the section of your hair you did previously to see your amazing results!!
